Children and young people supported by WellChild submitted their entries to a photography competition entitled \u2018My Life Through a Lens\u2019. The entrants were asked to\u00a0use photography skills and artistic flare to explain their life and tell their story from their own perspective.\u00a0The competition was aimed at shining a light on the reality of life for young people living with serious health needs or disability.

This photo is of the chandelier in our living room and when Jack is on the floor having life saving interventions this is the view of what he sees. It looks like a star shining bright just like Jack and a beacon of hope. This can be seen as an inspiration to us during difficult times.
<\/p>
It is beautiful how the light spreads out and lights up the darkness surrounding it, light being life and darkness being death and the fine barrier between them both. Jack has multiple severe complex medical needs, which are life limiting.
